Warehouses need air moved in volume: large floor areas, high roofs, forklift traffic, and goods that suffer when hot air sits under the roof. The manufacturer’s pages list warehouses and warehousing and logistics among the applications for the DWT-I families, and warehouses among the slope family’s applications. This page gathers what those pages state for warehouse buildings.

Which families the source pages list for warehouses

The carbon-steel DWT-I page lists warehouses first among its applications, alongside factories, power stations, bus stations and gymnasiums, and describes its range as medium-to-low-pressure, high-airflow applications — the duty a warehouse roof fan actually performs, moving large volumes against the low resistance of a short roof discharge. The FRP DWT-I page lists warehousing and logistics among its applications, alongside industrial facilities, transportation hubs, commercial and public buildings, and energy and infrastructure projects. The slope-type page lists warehouses among the buildings its fan serves, alongside factories, poultry houses and greenhouses. Between the three pages, the warehouse buyer has a clear family choice to make, and the tables to make it with.

Airflow scale for warehouse roofs

The DWT-I tables run from 1,900 m³/h on the smallest operating point of DWT-I-3A to 53,855 m³/h on the largest carbon-steel row and 53,800 m³/h on the largest FRP row, with eleven models between those ends. That spread is the warehouse buyer's main tool: a small storage building and a large distribution hall do not take the same model, and the table lets the buyer match the model to the building instead of guessing from a single headline figure. The slope family offers 28,000 and 45,000 m³/h across its two models, and the elbow family offers 28,000 to 45,000 m³/h across its four models, so the FRP families cover the middle of the warehouse range while the DWT-I range covers the whole span. No source page states a warehouse air-change rate, a coverage area, or a temperature figure, so none is claimed here: matching a model to a warehouse is a project calculation using the building's size, height, openings and heat sources, and it belongs in the inquiry, not in a general claim.

Roof openings, access and accessories

Warehouse roofs are usually the easiest roofs to work on — large, flat, and accessible — but the opening still has to match the fan. The slope family tables hole sizes of 1400 by 1400 mm and 1000 by 1000 mm. The DWT-I families table overall dimensions in two different schemes, five columns on the carbon-steel page and seven on the FRP page, and the buyer must use the table of the variant being ordered. Accessories named on the DWT-I pages — gravity or electric check valves, anti-bird and insect nets, maintenance switches and centralized control boxes — are practical points for a warehouse, where birds, backflow and maintenance access all matter, and where several fans may run together. The FRP DWT-I page adds a safety net and a fibreglass roof cap described as corrosion and UV resistant. Whether any accessory is included with a given model is a question for the inquiry, not a standard feature to assume.

What to send with a warehouse inquiry

• The warehouse floor area and roof height, the goods stored, and the heat sources inside — forklifts, lighting, solar gain through the roof.
• The roof openings available, or the curb sizes, so the model can be matched to the opening rather than the other way round.
• The voltage at the fan positions: slope and elbow models are tabled at 380 or 220 V, 50 Hz.
• How many fans the layout needs and how they will be controlled — singly, or together through a centralized control box, which the DWT-I pages list as an option.
• MOQ, lead time and warranty, which no source page states and which must be confirmed before payment.
